Ingredients
8oz.full fat cream cheesein block form, room temperature
¼cupsalted butter room temperature
¼cupreal maple syrup*
1teaspoonvanilla extract or ¼ teaspoon vanilla powder
½cupicing sugarto taste, up to 1 cup
Instructions
Add the cream cheese and butter to a large mixing bowl (or the bowl of your standing mixer). Beat on high speed until light and fluffy.
8 oz. full fat cream cheese, ¼ cup salted butter
Add the maple syrup and vanilla, and beat again to combine. Taste for sweetness.
¼ cup real maple syrup*, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add ½ cup of icing sugar and beat for 2-3 minutes, or until dissolved. Taste the frosting now and add up to ½ cup more sugar if you feel it isn't sweet enough, and beat again.

Use the frosting immediately, or refrigerate up to 4 days.
Notes
* The darker your maple syrup, the more intense the maple flavour will be.If using unsalted butter, add ¼ teaspoon salt to the mix.
